…which means I’ve survived four days in school! It’s much easier now that I know the children’s names and the behaviour policy of the school. It’s easier to be seen as a figure of authority amongst the older children if you can say things with conviction!
Today was one of the best days regarding behaviour. Maths almost went without a hitch, despite introducing the concept of subtraction on a number line. It’s funny how the class seems more switched on as the week progresses, whilst the adults are slowly starting to fade!
The Y2 teacher is on her PPA tomorrow (a day away from the class dedicated to planning and marking etc) so I will be with another teacher, but still in the same class. It will be my last day so fingers crossed it’s a good’un!
